Bakewell Parish Church Organ
We are currently working on the Brindley & Foster Organ, 1883. We are updating the electro-pneumatic action by fitting new Heuss lever magnets to each department. We are fitting the organ with a new bespoke Solid State Organ System manufactured by Solid State Organ Systems of Brandon, Essex. The console is being fitted with new drawstop solenoids, thumb and toe pistons for registration. A new Solid State System will be incorporated within. The project is expected to be completed by the end of October 2024.
St Andrew’s Church
We shall be dismantling the organ in August 2024. The organ will be restored and rebuilt. We are relocating the console to the gallery with the church. The organ will receive a bespoke Solid State Organ System, designed and manufactured by Solid State Organ Systems of Brandon, Essex. The console will receive new drawstop solenoids, thumb and toe pistons for registration. The console will be fully refurbished along with the pedal board. The project is expected to be completed early 2025.
